Both Bobby Rush and Ronald Burris must be insane with too much ego to side with Blagojevich. Mr. Rush, don’t make it a race issue! If you want an African-American in the senate, please let some body run for the people’s vote and win. And “yes we can”. Don’t legitimize you so called goodwill this way! Just remind yourself what you said on December 9. Any body with little common sense knows the intention of a crook, dishonest, and immoral character like Rod Blagojevich. He was just waiting to stir it as a racial issue so that his corruption and unetheical issues could be on the side line for a while. What kind of face he has to claim that he is doing it for the good of the people of Illinois? He is such a shameless low level creature? On the other hand Mr. Burris should have at least little moral and ethics. Looks like he is hungry to get anything by any means in the name of African-American. So far he has lost several political ventures and being rejected by due process involving people’s votes. So he wants THIS ONE. How much money and how many times he has contributed to the Blagojevich’s wallet even though he had lost to him once in a political battel? Everybody now knows about the credibility of Mr. Burris. In fact, it is an insult to the whole African-American community. To say the least, Mr. Burris’s action is a blow to the high values, morality, ethics, and succes of many African-Americans. Ironically this is against the back drop of a new era in American politics where another African-American though younger in age and politics made the history on November 4, 2008. Mr. Burris would have increased his credibility and earned more respect by declining this appointment.
