Napolitano, Homeland Security Join Parts of the American Government That Can’t Be Trusted

Yesterday’s “Tea Parties” were about trust: or rather the lack of trust now infecting the people of the United States.  For the first time in a long time many people, conservative people who don’t say much and never protest, are showing a lack of trust in their government.

It isn’t just President Obama and congress that are losing trust and confidence: it is other parts of the government too.  Treasury?  Geithner couldn’t pay his taxes along with a host of other Obama appoitees.  This list is getting to be too long to regurgitate.

And now Janet Napilitano has released a document she should have thrown away: a “report” that points the accusation of terrorism at veterans and other conservative Americans.

A good Director of Homeland Security would have cast this essay aside as a political Op-Ed without any substatiation or facts. A good Director of Homeland Security would have summoned the author and asked “Is this what you’ve been doing while the taxpayers paid you?”

But no.  Janet Napolitano sent this trash to police departments across America.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano testifies on Capitol ...
Homeland Security Secretary Janet NapolitanoNo wonder Americans took to the street yesterday to express displeasure at their government and Texas Governor Rick Perry said, “I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state.”

The Feds and the mainstream media have lost their minds — and the resulting lack of trust from a large segment of the electorate should be noticed…..

Michelle Malkin:

A Good President Would Fire Janet Napolitano

By Ralph Peters

She [Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano] needs to be fired for her bigoted attitudes toward our military veterans. Then give her a job at the International House of Pancakes because she’s good with waffles.

Look, Janet “from-another-planet” Napolitano has forbade the use of the term Islamist terrorist or Muslim terrorist within the Department of Homeland Security. In fact, she doesn’t want the word terrorist used at all.

But you’ve read this report, Steve, and I encourage all Americans to read it. It repeatedly warns of our military vets being terrorists. She uses “terrorist.” It warns about people who oppose illegal immigration as being terrorist threats, as people who may differ on right-to-life issues as terrorist threats.

And it’s also racist. Because, you know, there’s no mention of minority violence, no mention of Muslim violence, of Islamist violence. It’s all basically, if you read it, you get the message that white Christians are a threat to the country, and oh, by the way, look out for those vets, because Hollywood and Harvard warned us, they’ll come in, they’ll move in next door and kill you and hurt your child. Steve, it’s disgraceful.

And who would normally rein in a loose moose cabinet secretary?  A tough president or a tough congress.  But this congress passsed the biggest U.S. spending bill ever without reading it.

So do you trust them?

  1. Troy Robinson Says:

No matter what the problem, no matter where it occurs, they all have two standard answers:

    1. It started during the Bush administration.

    2. It is further proof that we need gun control.

And we are supposed to take these bozos seriously? I don’t think so.
